In Texas, Everything Is Bigger

An economic powerhouse, the Lone Star state's economy ranks eighth in the world, larger than many countries. Texas's economy is as diverse as it is big, and in CNBC's 2024 Top States for Business, Texas ranked No. 1 for workforce and innovation. We provide energy solutions and site location services to several of Texas's thriving regions through two operating companies, AEP Texas and Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO).

AEP Texas delivers energy in South and West Texas, where unprecedented industrial and energy sector growth is fueled by direct access to oil and gas reserves and best-in-class transportation assets, such as ports to connect you to Mexico and beyond.

SWEPCO serves the North Texas and East Texas regions, a hub for manufacturing, distribution and food processing operations looking for low-cost access to the Dallas-Fort Worth market, and robust interstate infrastructure.
